Smoke on the Water

The Detroit River sweeps around the bend at the Ambassador Bridge and heads south for Grosse Isle and Lake Erie. All the floating navigational aids have been removed from the river, leaving the captains to pilot by radar and experience.

The heavy industry of Zug Island and the Rouge River fills the air with condensing water vapor, and a few other elements, destined to return as acid rain on a Quebec trout stream, some will claim.
