Generally, longer shafts are a problem. They oversteer, and of course draw more water. Half of the engine discussions on this site concerns engines being mounted too low, and the less desireable results.
If the transom takes a 15, why use a 20? Unless you have to???

Today Moller suggested I buy a pickup tube from Amazon or West Marine.
For a two week old tank.

So I will return the whole tank to West Marine as defective, and see if the next one leaks. I know they will stand behind it.

What comes to mind is the variation in approved fuel lines.
You might find a good fuel line with thinner wall construction.

If the sand is pumped up the shore and washes down to the harbor to be pumped up the shore again, that is a complete cycle. Recycling is so important that I am sure the feds or maybe even locals have some funds designated for recycling stashed which could be applied to this program and keep it going...

Mosy likely you have a circuit breaker inside the console. Look it up as suggested. You are most likely looking at it. Larger white thing with button on top mounted somewhere inside the console. At least that is what I have on an older 170.
