Might be easier to identify if you remove it from the door and post a picture. A locksmith can probably identify the marks or recommend a replacement for you.

For many Yamaha key switches remove the retaining nut and located on the flat side of the switch key barrel should be a three digit key number. With the key number you can source a replacement.

I like it for the stainless steel bolts used to mount aluminum outrigger bases,and lower unit bolts. The ss bolts on the aluminum trailer also. Lots of places on a boat, motor, and trailer used in salt water.

Thanks Jim, the lower unit serial number is unique unto itself, however in the Yamaha computer system entering the engine (powerhead number) or this new lower unit number ,reveals the other one and shows my name and address as owner and my Extended Warranty info.
