That was poorly phrased. what I meant to say was, how do I avoid damaging uncured epoxy/barrier coat while rearranging temporary supports?

epoxy timing

Hello, I have decided to bottom paint my 205 Conquest. I am looking for advice on barrier coat prosses.
If the barrier coat needs to be tacky between coats, will I damage the uncured epoxy when rearranging temporary support braces to access the unpainted areas of the hull

Current status: last week I was finally able to get my 2006 205 Conquest with 150 VERADO to a VERADO-certified mechanic. I picked her up Saturday. The technician said the problem was "poor connections on ECM." He charged $240 for the repair. I went out the next day for test ride. The VERAD...

well it turns out i did not solve the problem. It has gotten worse. here is my current symptom list. engine shuts down when pounding in rough water while on plane. engine shuts down when shifting to reverse. smartcraft gauge sometimes reading hydraulic fault.

Butch thanks for the response. I think i solved the problem, one of my passengers accidentally leaned on the engine trim switch for about 30 seconds which caused the Smartcraft trim gauge to read a false trim angle. Verado Stalls

My 2006 four-cylinder Mercury VERADO 150 stalls when shifted to reverse. It runs perfectly in neutral and forward but stalls immediately when shifted to reverse. Smartcraft guage says system fault when stalled. Has anyone seen this?
