Boston Whaler starts their numbering at 100. Your boat was the 15th one built for that model year.

CFZ is registered as a California Homemade Boats. my guess is they chopped the front of the boat off and made a custom bow section. and then registered it as home made. I could be wrong though.

If i recall correctly, there is material added in lamination, to prevent this, once they found out about it happening. I can not recall what year they started to do this.

The leak checks on the tanks are tested at either 2.5 or 3.5 psi for about a half hour. The welds on the tank held, the sheet metal sheared. This happened on a 350 outrage.

You should be able to call Boston Whaler with the serial number in the forward locker. They can give you all the info on that hull.
