FS: 1981 15' Striper Boston Whaler

I have gone through this boat bow to stern two years ago with intentions of holding on to it forever; however, we were blessed with a daughter last year. I (my wife) want a bigger boat so that the family can enjoy. Wood has been refinished, console has been rebuilt, removed forward fishing seat with...

Re: 1989 15-footer Rough Gel Coat

Tailwind--I just did those repairs [i.e, the repairs Tailwind will need to do: to drill-out and re-seal a bunch of mounting holes, seal a bunch of other holes, repair lots of cracks along the stern, and repair a separation in the upper lip of the transom--jimh] to an 1981 STRIPER I purchased a coupl...

Re: Chock for Fitting to Whaler Classic Combined Sidelight Lamp

It took a month for the parts to be delivered, and I literally had zero interaction. Re: Chock for Fitting to Whaler Classic Combined Sidelight Lamp

Update: I got the [replacement CHOCK and long threaded bolt] from [marinepartdepot.com]. The parts were everything described and worked perfectly. The customer service was terrible, but at the price being charged I really could not complain too much.

Re: Navigation Lamp Chock Assembly

The link will send you to the part I am referencing. It is not the screw itself, but the part the screw attaches itself to. Which attaches the assembly to the boat. Heads up on that vendor they are not good when it comes to customer service, which I expected due to such low prices. I will follow up ...

Re: Navigation Lamp Chock Assembly

Not the stud, but the piece the stud screws into [later determined to be the chock]. I found a vendor out of California that has the piece I was mentioning.

Chock for Fitting to Whaler Classic Combined Sidelight Lamp

I have recently purchased a [1981] STRIPER 15. The previous owner did not use a stainless-steel stud [later determined to be the chock that sits atop the lamp] on the navigation lamp assembly. Where I can find this particular part?
