I tow my 210 Montauk with factory Karavan trailer several time a year with my Toyota Tundra without any sway.
Probably the extra weight of the engine and the set back is causing the sway.

Re: Montauk 210 Thoughts
I have a 2013 210 Montauk (with a 150hp 4 stroke, T-top, port a potty, fishing package, tow arch, etc). Then, I added a 3-side enclosure, Simrad 16" Evo2. Bennet tabs, SH VHF, etc etc). With 4 ppl with full tank of gas, it runs at 33-34 knots in calm water. While I had 6 adults on board, I didn'...

Re: 210 MONTAUK v. Classic OUTRAGE 22
That's my 2013 210 Montauk when delivered! I see my wife and a dog in the pictire. The front deck is pretty big. Four people can hang out easily. I sometime get out Moriches Inlet in Long Island for Seabass fishing, but it's quite stable. I installed a pair of Bennett Bolt 12 x 9 trim tabs, and they...

Re: 210 Montauk: Installation of Electronics on Helm Dashboard
Good luck with the installation!
I'm getting a Sonichub and a pair of speakers in this winter. I would say Sonichub is better in terms of the look but I need to be careful that my wife may hit the wrong button on my MFD.

Jim
The second elec panel is fed from the same distribution. As mine doesn't have live wells, freshwater shower, etc, the second panel is not really used.

Just saw the pic of the console. My VHF is right above the first access hatch.

Re: 210 Montauk: Installation of Electronics on Helm Dashboard
I had to create a cut out (small: 2'X4') as the back of the MFD touched the inner liner of the console. So, it safe not to install the VHF next to the HDS-9. I installed a SH gx-2200 inside of the console, and installed a remote remote MIC next to the MFD. I this case, I can still have some real est...

Re: 210 Montauk: Installation of Electronics on Helm Dashboard
I installed a Simrad NSS 9' Evo2 on my 210 Montauk, and still have a plenty of room for additional 7' MFD.

Re: 210 MONTAUK
I have a 2013 210 MONTAUK with a Mercury 150 FOURSTROKE NOT VERADO. I mainly fish in a bay but get out a few miles from the inlet on a good day. I never experienced riding in rough water like four-foot to five-foot short-period swells as the inlet gets pretty rough first. So, I need to pick the day ...

Built-in Tackle Cabinet - 210 Montauk
Hello, As we had a ton of snow in NJ, I started my winter project to install a built-in cabinet in the Reversible Pilot Seat (RPS) on my 210 Montauk. I purchased the cabinet from Boat Outfitters and started cutting the cutout in my RPS...It was a challenge not to cut any reinforcements to fit it but...

Re: 210 MONTAUK: T-Top Construction
On my 2013 210 Montauk the T-Top and tow arch are aluminum. The bow and stern rails and other hardware are stainless steel.
