Re: Steering Wheel Removal
Better late than never with this response I guess but I ended up having to buy a long, high strength sawzall blade and cut my steering wheel off from the back side. This required replacement of the Teleflex tilt helm (which I was doing anyway) but the shaft stub never would come out, Could not even ...

Re: Pantone Gray Gel Coat
I confirmed with BW Customer Service again and they said the Hull is White 2216 and the Interior/Deck, Console/Etc. is Pantone Gray 2213. I called Spectrum back to see if they had something close to 2213 available in a patch kit or quart. They are supposed to call me back.

Re: Pantone Gray Gel Coat
Thanks for the reply Jim. I got the color information from Boston Whaler Customer Service. They did a lookup on my Hull ID# and gave me the hull and deck color. Deck was called "Pantone Gray". I have the color code at home but not with me at the moment. I guess it's just Spectrum's variati...

Pantone Gray Gel Coat
I have a 1997 20 Outrage that I'm having some gel coat repairs done on. My boat, along with many c.1990 Boston Whaler boats--from what I understand--has a deck color of Pantone Gray rather than a white hull color. You can hardly tell a difference between PantoneGray and white, but there is a differe...

Re: Console mounting chartplotter with a RAM Mount
Looks good! Should hold up great! I like the RAM mounts. Used one one my Sea Ray. Curious as to why you didn't mount it on top of the console with the standard Garmin bracket? Not enough room? Not criticizing, just curious. It seems like there is never enough room for electronics.

Re: Thanks for the return of CW
I too am glad everything is back up! I was a little worried when I kept getting the old 400 error page. Any idea when we can use the private message feature? It just says "you have to participate more" to use it. I was going to send speedbump a congrats message for his new 20 OR. Guess I'l...

Horn for OUTRAGE 20
I would like to mount a permanent horn [on a Boston Whaler OUTRAGE 20 boat]. I want one of the drop-in hidden type horns. Has anyone found a good horn to use? The horn would probably mount in the front of the console. The horn on my Sea Ray sounded horrible.
Thanks
Jason
