Remove the lower desending units on gas tanks

Pumping Old Fuel From Fuel Tank
How do you remove the lower desending units on the fuel tanks of 2001 Conquest 295 to get [gasoline] pumped out? Tipps said I need to remove them and they will remove the old [gasoline] for $2/gallon.

That was a really nice restoration .I gave my son our 13 foot and hope sometime soon he will take an interest in restoring it .I would love to do a project like that with him so he would have something to be proud of and take care of it ,rather then just leaving it sit .
