Does anybody use a trailer rated for 1,250-lbs with a boat weighing 1,200-lbs?
A 2003 150 SPORT 150 weighs 1,200 lbs with engine. The trailer that came with my Boston Whaler boat is in bad shape, and I need to replace it. Most trailers I see have a capacity of 1,250-lbs and then jump to 1,500-lbs.

150 SPORT: Transom-mounted Boarding Ladder
[Inquires if readers have] any recommendations on a transom mount swim ladder for a 2003 Sport 150--no platform, just a ladder. I see some decent ones on Amazon, but the instructions say the ladder needs to be mounted on a horizontal surface.

My 2003 150 Sport has a couple dozen minor nicks--some above waterline, some below. I am more concerned about protection than I am about appearance. The nicks and gouges are all small.
