I was cleaning my 1998 Revenge 20 WT and noticed some numbers stamped inside one of the seat wells in the forward berth. They are 8A1692. Would this be the identity of the mold used when they made the boat? Just curious

Many marine dealers exhibit at the Toronto Boat Show. I've found several dealerships here in Ontario selling E-TEC engines from their inventory. I saw an E-TEC G2 200 25-inch shaft at US-$18,000 reduced from $22,700. [That price was] very tempting.

I run my engine until it starts to stumble, then shift the engine to neutral, and switch over to a second tank.

On my 1988 Revenge 20 W-T the double fuel pick-up tubes are about an inch above the bottom of the tank, so the tank never truly runs dry.

Does your cover leak when it's raining? I too have a sunbrella cover that is snapped in place. Everytime it rains the boat gets water in it. I tried treating the cover but it didn't work.

Any competent hydraulic hose company could bend you a new longer metal end with the appropriate flare . I wouldn't even use the double crimp and just go with stainless steel hose clamps.

My original Helm filler cap had a weep hole in it. After I cross threaded that cap i ordered a new one without the weep hole. On very hot days it seems to seep around the rubber gasket under the filler cap. All is good though and works great.
