2017 210 MONTAUK Leaking Caulk Seams

I have a 2017 210 Montauk. The caulked seams on the deck at the stern and around the console-deck joint are leaking.

Can these leaking seams on a 210 MONTAUK be repaired without tearing the boat apart?

Re: 2017 to 2019 Boston Whaler Boats with Self-bailing Cockpits

My 210 Montauk is "self bailing", but as noted by Jefecinco as on his 190 Montauk, my 210 Montauk will accumulated a good amount of rain water in the bilge and the bilge pump will drain the battery dead. I keep my 210 Montauk on a lift with the garboard drain plug removed. I have a 210 Mo...

Re: Wet Hull v. Dry Hull for Value

Hi Jim, Thanks for moving the post to the right place. I appreciate your thoughts on the question. I am thinking that a wet transom (for an outboard powered boat) is a larger problem than wetness in other parts of the hull. A wet transom could effectively reduce the value of the hull substantially w...

Wet Hull v. Dry Hull for Value

[What is the] value difference between a boat with a dry hull (no elevated moisture anywhere in the hull) versus a boat that has some moisture in the hull, but a dry transom? I am thinking more about some wetness around some deck fittings. No visible damage, no cosmetic damage, and nothing loose. Si...

Re: Montauk 210 Thoughts

Hello, I would not have as much of a problem with four adults and 4-5 kids, as long as the conditions warrant. It is a problem of what you want to do, and to be clear, the boat is not going to sink of founder with 8 persons aboard; as long as each of them is not 250-300lbs! The boat is a great boat ...

Re: Montauk 210 Thoughts

Wow, I would never take eight people out on the 210, offshore or not. Four is ideal, six in a stretch inshore.--Kevin

Re: Montauk 210 Thoughts

Hello. I own a Montauk 210 with a Mercury 150 FOURSTROKE. I run it on the Chesapeake Bay, and I really like the boat. I find 150-HP to be plenty powerful enough for the boat. I actually had mine propped-down to a 15-pitch propeller in order to be able to run more slowly in the kind of chop we get up...
