Revenge 20 W-T Hull Weight
Do the boat weights in the specification sheets include the rigging. I weighed my Revenge 20 W-T. My best guess it weighs 2,560 lbs, and 410-lbs over empty weight. In the winter of 2017-2018, I drilled a 1/4-inch hole in the keel of the Revenge 20 W-T to check for water—not a drop in four months in ...

Re: Whaler Drive Power Rating
Thanks jimh . You answered my question.
I was asking if they [Boston Whaler] rated them [Boston Whaler boats] by horsepower or weight.
According to the specifications, a 1987 Revenge 20 W-T is 20' 3" long so it should be exempt from the 20' and under rule.

Whaler Drive Power Rating
[Note: thread moved to PERFORMANCE forum for discussion. Initial question has been rewritten to be a direct question instead of a survey asking for the number of people that knew the answer to the question—jimh] Why [that is, for what reason or due to what element of the design] is the Revenge 20 Wh...

1996 Evinrude OceanPro 200 Timing Base Plate
I left the engine throttle [for a 1996 Evinrude Ocean Pro] at wide open for a week after checking compressions. Now [the throttle] is stuck and the culprit is the timing base plate. How freely should the timing base plate move with the engine not running?
Any tips on repairs?
Thanks Phil

Re: General Winterizing and Storage
On my REVENGE with a 1996 Evinrude 200 I winterize as follows: --drain all the gasoline --run the 200 and Honda 15-HP until they quit --add 5-gallon of aviation gasoline 100ll to the tank (Aviation gasoline does not break down like auto fuel and does not produce varnish) --run both engines --do fogg...

Re: REVENGE 20 W-T: Adding In-deck Live Well; Seat Boxes
I don't plan on making my box's that big. I want to be able to swivel the seats around and not loose so much deck space. When I start the project I will post pics ( as soon as I learn how to. I am new to the site. I'm a lot better with a wrench than computers) I have my oil tank behind the pilot sea...

Re: REVENGE 20 W-T: Adding In-deck Live Well; Seat Boxes
Good idea thanks. I would only need one hole in the top plus that would solve the problem of a good structural attachment to the deck. the box will be over the center deck panel so they need to be removable to access the fuel tank. If I go that route I will probably just make some molds so I can mak...

Thanks for the input. I will keep the butcher knife away from my deck.
I have worked on composite aircraft so I plan on using foam and glass. That way it would be easy to shape them to make them look oem.

REVENGE 20 W-T: Adding In-deck Live Well; Seat Boxes
I would like to install a fish box on either side of the fuel tank on a 1987 REVENGE 20 W-T. By looking at pictures of the hull with center deck cover removed, I don't think it would be a good idea fo just cut a hole, dig out the foam. and glass-in [the new live well] without knowing where to cut. H...
