This is how my 1967 13 footer sits with a 1973 Evinrude 50 HP -- around 180 pound motor. The boat handles best with someone sitting up front. Hi Jim, the boats will be sport and standard models. However i'd like the device be hidden/concealed in the hull itself instead of the engine or console since those can be taken off of the hull.

Here we have some more picture of the rigging.
The steering system we used is a bit of an older tech than
what most other boats have but we decided to use it instead because
of its simplicity and its space saving benefits.

Continued;
Interior paint has been added. Since we couldn't get the original paint,
we decided to mix white with blue. The paint looks good but just a little bit of green
will bring you closer to the original colour.

ASIDE: I do realize that I can just as well buy an 1980's era Montauk. My father had one and we enjoyed it for almost a decade. However, i've ridden all three generations of the Montauk model and I still believe the first generation model rides better. This is just my personal opinion.

I know a project like the one I have in mind is challenging, but that's kinda why I like the idea. I know some Whaler 16's had the flat deck but it's not really what I'm looking for. Since the buyer wanted a lighter colour,
compared to the first Whaler 13 we sold him (my first Whaler 13)
We decided to use a more baby blue colour.

It came out decent and adding the anti-slip went well too.

Thankyou everyone,

I haven't post much lately since I've been awfully busy with work.
We did get a new trailer which we restored. Still have some minor adjustments to do.

Boat has also been painted inside, engine has been added finally and now we're prepping for minor details.

After the second primer, there were some minor detail that our fiberglass specialist wanted to fix. Those repairs took some extra time, but we managed to get the bottom painted using Total Boat white paint. It's looking great. All the boat needs now is a nice polishing job before we flip her.

To counter the small holes that resulted from using a thinned primer and spraying it on, we tried rolling on the primer. It helped fill the holes. We sanded the primer and added a light primer.

Being a brush-on primer and quite thick, we decided to use a thinner to make it possible to spray on. This made for some small holes.

We finished off the fairing starting with p60 grit paper, then p140 grit paper, and then ending with p220 grit paper. The fairing has been going well, so far. After glassing we've started adding a marine body filler called Power Grip. It's softer than usual fillers which makes it easier to grind. We will add one or two more layers before painting.

After a 25-day delay I've managed to start on the boat. I was at least a helping hand in it.

After first adding a polyester filler to all the holes that were left after sandblasting, we've applied 1.5-ounce fiberglass mat at the transom and side of the boat.

I've experienced fishing on an Outrage 320 which had decent space for the size.
Ride overall was pretty good. Fast to plane with only 500 hp and the quality of the hull is decent.

The day we got her back from sandblasting, we could see a bit better how much work the hull needed. It's going to be a job but I've seen worse.

I might have a chance to purchase a Boston whaler 16 from the 60's era. I'm contemplating whether or not I should convert it into a bay boat (add a livewell, storage, etc.)
