Re: 230 OUTRAGE
jimh—I do [have data on Boston Whaler production volume for the 230 Outrage]: 114 units (and counting) have been produced since its introduction in 2016. Whaler keeps a tab on how many boats they have sold of a particular model, in this case my Outrage 230 is number 114. Therefore, there must be 113...

Re: 270 Dauntless: Trolling Motor; Single v. Twin Engines; More
I believe that Boston Whaler is beginning to offer these engines. I saw a video from Marinemax in Wrightsville showcasing an Outrage 250 with the new 3.4-liter V6 outboards. Re: 270 Dauntless: Trolling Motor; Single v. Twin Engines; More
I would definitely go with the new 3.4 liter 200 or 225 hp V6 twin set up for the Dauntless 270, these engines are lighter, more fuel efficient and will replace the supercharger Verados going forward.

Re: 2008 150 Montauk to 2018 170 Montauk
I would go with the upgrade to a 2018 170 Montauk, it’s a nice jump from the 150 Montauk but at the same time manageable enough for you to trailer it with your midsize SUV for 400 miles. The Montauk line from Whaler are versatile, efficient and easy to maintain, well worth their initial cost.
