I think it is the Dauntless 16 that weighs in at 1200 pounds and needs the 115. The extra 12" doesn't change your point though.

Hull for the Dauntless 15 is listed at 850 pounds. Still heavy.

Flameer is the brand of the hinge. A search on eBay or Amazon with that name may locate a hinge like the ones seem in Figure 1and 2.

Figure 2 is a bad picture. It show two hinges. One with the screw covers on, one with the screw covers off.

Boat number 1 found a new home tonight. New owner did not like the modified bow rail. It was cut for the trolling motor. Swapped my intact rail from 2 for the cut rail on 1. I save money in hardware, new owner is happy and I don't have to go through the bad feeling of cutting up an original BW piece...

A disadvantage to having an always-on LED voltmeter on the dash is their brightness can be annoying at night. They are brighter than you might think. On my recent installation I put in a switch for the LED voltmeter.

Based on the write-up by [Bob (GoldenDaze)] I ordered Bennet BOLT tabs, also 12 x 4, with the Basic switch for under $400 including shipment. I hope [the Bennett BOLT trim tabs] work out. Love the [DAUNTLESS 16] boat, but I hate that 10- to 18-MPH bow rise.

My Dauntless 16 is becoming more functional. I think this 4 blade prop was an improvement. Anecdotally the boat has better hole shot, less bow rise and top speed was very good maybe even better considering the boat was slightly more loaded. It still has more bow rise than I'd like between 10-18 mph ...
