Re: Outrage 25 Twin Evinrude 250

Typical load is 1/4-1/2 tank of fuel, 2 persons and approximately 250-300kg of gear, ice and ballast. Sometimes up to 8 persons and I plan to build a t-top for next season. Ocean conditions are mostly protected and less then 0,5m significant wave height. Longest trips are 110 nautical miles, but mos...

Re: Outrage 25 Twin Evinrude 250

Don't know why the first picture ended up stretched and I don't know how to reduce picture size on iPad, which I needed for uploading here. Will try to upload some more pictures tomorrow.

Best regards Adrian

Re: Outrage 25 Twin Evinrude 250

Hi, sorry for the late utdate. Due to some problems and very busy at work, this season has started very slow and late. I raised the motors all the way up (might have to lower it a bit since it looses grip when going on plane and in hard turns). Cavitation plates are dry on the outside and gets littl...

Re: Outrage 25 Twin Evinrude 250

Thank you both for replying. I was recommended to contact Ken from Propgods, which I did. He replied quick and precise and strongly recommended the 22p Bravo's and lift the engines. So I bought those Bravo's for a very fair price and can't wait to test them. Hopefully the snow and ice have melted fo...

Re: Outrage 25 Twin Evinrude 250

Thank you for your answers. I follow you on the rule of thumb, but heard that's only applicable when comparing propellers from the same brand and model? My hydromotive looks to be very close to a typical surface prop, which would be extra heavy to run when mounted deep. I guess my hope was that the ...

Outrage 25 Twin Evinrude 250

I'm seeking advice regarding propeller selection for my 1989 Boston Whaler 25 Outrage with twin 2004 Evinrude 250-HP direct-injection engines. I am now running Hydromotive q-IV 15.5 x 24-pitch propellers; these are way too heavy for my application and engine mounting height. Due to EMM failure last ...
