A quote to have a Minn Kota [24-Volt electric trolling motor] installed [on my 2007 190 OUTRAGE] was between $7,000 and $8,000 depending on the battery choice, with the batteries going into the anchor locker. Q2: have batteries for an electric trolling motor EVER been put in the anchor locker of a 190 OUTRAGE?
The anchor locker of a 190 OUTRAGE seems to have enough room. A leveling bottom plate would be needed.

With the information provided I was able to find the problem. For reference, the power was not leaving the wiring harness multiple pole connector. I separated the mating connectors and re-mated them; this restored the circuit and the problem was solved. Thanks again.

Follow up on the re-power. The break-in is not complete. With 35-gallons of fuel and no passengers, the boat speed reached 50 measured by GPS. Tell me what you like and what you don't like about the 140 on your Nantucket. I found a DF 150 but ruled it out because of the wt. I have not looked for a 140 thinking it may be underpowered. Thanks. You and I communicated a few years back when I re-power the 17 Outrage. Thanks again.
