I just bought bow cushions for my outrage(it came with snaps) and quality and workmanship look excellent. We will see how they hold up over time but I do not see why they wouldn't. The savings over the competition was well worth it so far.

Where are your registration numbers? If you had a hose in there and that seal was not sealed, you just got your answer. Yes 120-lbs will add a list to one side. Bottom paint can grow over time as people raise it a hair every year when they paint. Some also do not like the scum line that can go above the paint if moored in more rougher waters and will raise the paint line to cover it.

All depends on condition and desired performance. The 90hp Yamaha is known to be more like 80hp. You will lose quit a bit of speed and holeshot. Did they make the 25 in 1979? If so the 1979 brochure was the last year they posted performance numbers with the max and min hp. I would think I would want the larger displacement engine if going with a 200. The difference of a 200 vs 225 would be minimal in my opinion.

Why are you bothering? Drill out the thermostat and put the "plug" that is left back in and run. It will have sufficient backpressure and will not run too cold. Unless running in cold temperatures a LOT, it is not really necessary to run a thermos if it is giving you grief. PS: they make a...

To summarize: Engine mounting is identical on older OMC and Yamaha engines to your 90hp today.
