I think you should get a four-blade propeller if you want one, even if no one else does.

You should abandon the OEM propeller that Boston Whaler chose for your boat and get a different one with four blades, if that is what you want.

So you ARE now saying the jets are different. That makes more sense. The diameter of the opening in the jet is different in different models, based mostly on horsepower rating.

Rubber fuel hose for use with gasoline on a boat must meet USCG ratings. That such fuel hose can be found at an auto part store may be speculative.

An article about the new three-cylinder G2 E-TEC engines on BOATTEST.COM says the ROTAX engines (a sister company to Evinrude) which are similar to the new G2 engines have such great fuel economy they are being used in military drone aircraft.

The fuel pump is usually operated by vacuum pulses from the crankcase via a check valve. Examine that hose and the check valve.

I don't see how the new propeller will cause the engine to be able to accelerate to a higher engine speed. Generally a stainless steel propeller will create more load for the engine than an aluminum propeller when the diameter and pitch of both are the same.
