I also picked up 1969 13' to clean up and rescue this week. Mine is good but not quite as nice. I'm going to clean, polish and not worry about the crazing. Too labor intensive to fix the crazed gelcoat in my mind. That is why you see old boats with pickup bed liner spayed on the in \side. I would su...

The Hinckley Picnic boat was still sitting there in the Leland marina parking lot at 2:00 PM today. Trailer plates are Michigan. I have seen many boats that size and larger ramp launched and hauled out. Ramp needs to be a good one with deep water. By the way that Picnic boat was back from the bow st...

Are you sure about the weight of the boat, motor, gear, and fuel? Sounds light to me.
I have an 1987 Outrage 18 on a single axle trailer and all is fine.
You definitely want good working brakes.
What does the trailer manufacturer recommend?

You need a combination of hardware to get fore and aft bunks mounted to the frame of the trailer. Some trial and error with set up. If you added a couple keel rollers like on the front of the trailer to the two cross members that would be a plus but not mandatory with good bunks. https://www.shorela...

I found this on the Whaler Facebook page.
"Official Boston Whaler Owner's Club The base price for this boat is around $88,900."
A $100,000 is around $88,900. in the boat busyness.
Nice boat but it makes the old bought and paid for Outrage 18 look pretty good.

Wish I could see the wires under the deck without pulling them out of the tunnel.

Thanks Seahorse.
I've been wondering if the problem could be in the key switch itself. If memory serves, big if, the engine did not start on first try and when I reprimed it was when the fuse blew. But I can not make it blow again, yet. Primer solenoid seems to check out OK.
