I likely won’t be able to find a “bolt on” option and may not be able to use the OEM swim ladder.

I'll try to work something up.

I will post any results if they’re different from Bob's method.

Re-read the original article. Note the use of KING StarBoard plastic material to extend the swim ladder further from the transom as seen in the illustration identified as Figure 4 above. I would prefer to mount the [trim] tab under where the ladder currently hangs and extending the OEM hangers will...

I wasn’t sure if the dealer would allow prop testing as I didn’t know if they would have a problem to sell the undesired ones.
