Re: 1989 OUTRAGE 22 Fuel Tank Replacement
I recently replaced the fuel tank in my 1989 Revenge 22 which utilizes the same hull as an 1989 Outrage 22. The dimensions you show in the sketch for the 85 gallon tank are almost the same dimensions as the 77 gallon tank that Florida Marine Tanks fabricated for my Revenge 22. Your sketch illustrate...

Re: 1989 Outrage 22 Cuddy WhalerDrive - WhalerDrive Rot
I have a 1989 REVENGE 22 Whaler Drive. The Whaler Drive has some cracking and crushing at the Whaler Drive mounting bolts. Within the next year or two I plan on re-coring with Coosaboard. I will either attempt to dig out the old plywood from the top using a chainsaw or I will cut off the fiberglass ...

I hesitate to provide the exact drawing that was provided from FMT but I will provide the following pictures and diagram.

Re: 1986 OUTRAGE 20 Replacement Fuel Tank
I recently purchased and installed a 77-gallon tank from FMT. The dimensions shown on your original post are slightly different from the dimensions of the tank I removed from my 1989 Revenge 22. Your drawings reference a constant side height of 10.75-inches. My original tank and the replacement tank...

Re: Testing gear case seals
Outboard lower units are tested dry. The use of soapy water helps tremendously in finding any leaks.

Re: REVENGE 22 W-T Cabin Cushion Replacement
I think most of us with the extra cushion are utilizing the porta-potty cover that reverses for use as a table. A quick search on the internet should provide you with several pictures. My Revenge did not have one but I was able to locate a used OEM cover/table from a individual that was parting-out ...

Re: Yeti Coolers on Classic MONTAUK 17
I have an 80-quart ENGLE cooler that fits perfectly in front of the console. It's slightly less expensive then a Yeti. I've not had any problems with it and would recommend it highly.

Re: REVENGE 22 W-T Bow Pulpit Weight
Thanks for the reply Jim and Phil.
I'm specifically looking for the weight of the bow pulpit, not the bow railing. I understand shipping cost vary due to distance. If anyone knows the weight of the bow pulpit from a 22' Revenge WT, I can then determine what the cost to ship will be.

REVENGE 22 W-T Bow Pulpit Weight
I am considering purchasing a used bow pulpit and porta-potty cover/table from a damaged Revenge 22 W-T. Both items are supposedly not damaged and in good condition. Does anyone know the approximate weight of either item? I'm trying to determine the approximate shipping cost.

Re: REVENGE 22 W-T Cabin Cushion Replacement
Thanks for the replies, Jim and Don. And yes Don, I think using a breathable fabric on the bottom of the cushion is wise. It never made sense to me why the vinyl fabric was used on the original cushions. Fabrics have evolved considerably in the last 30 years and I would imagine what was considered t...

REVENGE 22 W-T Cabin Cushion Replacement
I will soon be replacing the cabin cushions for my Revenge 22-WT and am curious what others have done. Does anyone have any suggestions or experience regarding upholstery and foam selection?

Re: Unused Splash Well on Whaler Drive Boats
I'll answer for Slippery Eel since he has not answered Jim's first question. SLIPPERY EEL owns a 22' Revenge WT Whaler Drive. Regarding Peteinsf's question to SLIPPERY EEL: SLIPPERY EEL does not keep anything [in the unused splashwell that is in the Whaler Drive on his 22-foot hull]. He utilizes the...

77 Gallon Fuel Tank for a classic Whaler
For those of you that might be interested in replacing your 77 gallon fuel tank, I received a quote from Florida Marine Tanks, Inc. this past week (see below). My request was specifically for a replacement tank as found on a 1989 22' Revenge. A tank with the provided specifications would be 77 gallo...

Re: MONTAUK: On-deck Fuel Tank with Electric Tank Level Sender
I recently purchased a Mirax aluminum 12-gallon fuel tank with an electric fuel level sending unit for my Montauk. I wasn't happy with the performance of the electric fuel level sending unit that Mirax installed so I replaced it with a WEMA unit. The WEMA fuel level sensor seems to be much more accu...
