Re: Large Center Console Boats

I grew up on the Alabama gulf coast. It is so much different than it was when I was a kid. The biggest change was after hurricane Fredric when water front land was cheap and the developers bought and built large, high rise condos. The majority of the buyers came from Louisiana and Texas. They still ...

Jim, this is a first class review of this engine. The review (and engine) are most impressive. Q: why is Evinrude offering a 140-HP as well as a 150-HP version of this engine? From this link: https://www.evinrude.com/en-US/e-tec-g2/e-tec-g2-full-specs.html#tab=2 I thought they were the same. Same bo...

Took my boat out for its first trailer trial and it was perfect. Totally goof proof with no chance of keel run and the experts at Roughwater Marine set it up perfect. I strongly recommend this Loadmaster trailer for anyone with a 190 Nantucket or 190 Outrage. It’s so well built with quality material...

I may use Phil’s suggestion and add side rollers in front of the fenders. Hopefully it will work well. https://i.p...

If so, that may be the cause of the keel rash seen in the pictures.

Did you check the thru hull fittings, especially in the transom?

If they are plastic they are known to crack over time and cause water intrusion.

The 1999 Dauntless 18 had more interior room and storage space. The 2003 190 Nantucket rides better in following seas.
