Re: 275 Conquest: Convert Dinette to Berth
Tough to tell from the photo, but this is the configuration of cushions. On the 305 Conquest, the "seats" come together to fill the table gap and the "backs" then slide down to fill in the remaining gaps. conquest2.jpg Looks like the 275 Conquest does the same thing but there are...

Re: 275 Conquest: Convert Dinette to Berth
Should look something like this (minus the table and post).
The table should be turned around and stick out a bit from under the front cushion

Re: 275 Conquest: Convert Dinette to Berth
I believe the table and support pole are removed and placed under the font berth cushion. There should be a piece of wood/starboard that is then inserted (vertically) across the berth (from the galley/port to starboard) and the cushions are adjusted to fill in. I believe they rest/lifted onto other ...

Re: New Model May be 420 CONQEST
Conquest 420 (or bigger). My better half has been asking for a larger conquest (with separate stateroom) for years and I think the whaler representatives at the boat shows and even the factory are tired of hearing from her :). I can't imagine what the price tag on that would be

Re: Virginia Beach Boat Buddy
Just saw this post. I wish I was a little closer as I would be happy to assist. Unfortunately, I don't get down to the Virginia Beach, Virginia, area as much as I used too. If you haven't found someone yet may I suggest that you visit Lynnhaven Marine, a Boston Whaler dealer. They may be able to put...

Re: Seeking advice on purchase of a Whaler
Jim - apologize if my last post hinted at or gave the impression that I was throttle-down in two to three-foot seas, which wasn't the case, but the boat handled great in those conditions while chasing pods of fish from point A to B. Drifts were a bit rockier. There were a couple of times I thought m...

Re: Seeking advice on purchase of a Whaler
15 or 17 will be fine for the rivers of the Chesapeake - as well as the main Bay - as with any boat in the bay, you just need to be aware of the conditions, etc. Was out this past weekend with a steady south wind in 2-3 footers and my Nauset (16.7')...no problems. Lots of Whalers in the Chesapeake....

Re: Battery Failure
If you have a Verado, I would recommend getting and making an investment in appropriate AGM batteries. I believe for the 2007 235 CONQUEST boat, position 1 is for the port battery which does the pumps, stereo, and house loads, and position 2 is for the starboard battery for the engine. The boat shou...

Re: NMEA output for 2007 Verado?
Jack--I believe there is a gateway adaptor available from veradoclubparts.com that allows for this. I just use the "Favorites" menu on the Smartcraft display to access the most commonly used and needed data.

Re: VERADO and Hydro-lock
Have you tried adjusting the throttle [handle] friction so it doesn't slip between F-N-R? I have luckily never experienced a hydro lock, but I have had water get into and ruin the lower pencil coil on one engine because of a bad seal--a known problem on the VERADO FOURSTROKE GEN-1--coupled with the ...
