The maximum horsepower rating--whatever the hull states--is really doing nothing more than stopping someone from putting a too heavy engine on the boat. I have a Mercury 75-HP FOURSTROKE made in 2015. [That engine is the] same as the 90 and 115. My boat hull says 90-HP maximum. Why not 115? They all...
