Re: Outrage 17 and Outrage 17 II: Prices; Lake Michigan Boat
I have a 95 Outrage 17 with original 95 Johnson 115 and use it in Lake Michigan 90% of the time - West Michigan usually out of Grand Haven or Muskegon. It has worked out extremely well for us - we've talked about bigger boat or cuddy but Ellen loves the Outrage. We moved to the area in 08 and bought...

Re: Outrage Electronics Door Repair
Phil - the lower stash box on my 17 console never had the plexi half cover. We used it as a foot rest but it's not great. I'd like to get one for mine, could seriously use that storage area but have no idea if a proper one exists as spare part or where to source one.

Johnson 115 Charging System
Looks like the charging system [of my Johnson 115-HP outboard engine] is not working. I have had no time to use my Outrage 17 but plan to get to it the rest of the summer. I keep batteries charged, take a spare with me for short cruises, and have had no failure other than after several hours of oper...

West Michigan Rendezvous
There might be some opportunities for a simple and fun rendezvous near where we live or perhaps a bit further North like Leland or Sleeping Bear. There is also a likelihood that one of my long-term-Whaler-pals and his wife will be in Michigan end of August and early September. Who's in for some fun ...

Re: MacRae's of Homossassa
Well, we know very well and we get it. I know this is an old thread but I'm back on CW and had to respond to this one. Binkie, one of the best times was when you were there. I plan some FL trips this year - let's stay in touch.

Re: Saugatuck, Michigan, September 2015
Thanks for the report - We live North between Grand Haven and Muskegon a couple of blocks from Spring Lake and boat ramp at Fruitport Village. We should haul down to Saugatuck sometime and do a similar trip. Our go to port is usually Whitehall from Muskegon which is very nice. Jim - If you worry abo...
