[May buy] a 1996 19' Outrage II powered with a 175-HP. The Boston Whaler chart shows that this boat holds a 150-HP. However, I have seen several 1996 models powered with 175-HP

yes, about 50% of posters have contributed relevant and constructive advice on repair which is appreciated.

consulted a few boat builders in addition to the great advice here, and was told that structural integrity will be superior to factory when complete using epoxy and mat layers and then inserting foam. I wish I got this boat which came complete with 70Hp w/trim, trailer, original console, original RP...
