Re: 1999 Conquest 23 Live Well Always Full

See my similar response for Conquest 21. There is a white plastic knob up on the underside of the live well lip inside and the helm switch on the console for water. Further down inside bilge near port transom should also be a seacock valve with 90 degree handle. Look underneath boat for sea strainer...

Re: 1999 Conquest 21 Shower & Porta-Potti question

Hi, I can help as I have the same year and model. The WASTE cap (adjacent to fuel) on the port gunwale is hooked to remotely vacuum the port-potti. There is no installed waste tank below decks. I assume it was designed as a feature to assist those that berth their Conquest afloat at the marina. Ther...

Re: Hull Penetration Caused Eventual Delamination

Butch, Joe put brand new twin Yamaha V6 four-stroke-cycle engines on about three years ago. Heck, even I'd be interested in buying at least one of them because they definitely would be worth it alone even if you had to buy the hull as salvage. The motors would be worth it alone!

Re: Hull Penetration Caused Eventual Delamination

Joe, very sorry to hear of your loss. I always looked forward to seeing your Conquest at Sesuit. Did you at least salvage the Yamahas you repowered? That was a great repowering by Nauset. Thanks for sharing your story. I will definitely look closer on my 1999 Conquest which I just moved from Cape ba...

John Mirassou's Only-In-America-reunion-tour was going to do this leg next. Think he has postponed last two years for lack of sponsorship. Perhaps he will update us here.

Re: Boston Whaler in CHANTIX TV Commercial

I loved my Dauntless 15, but my family outgrew it and sold in 2005. Now Montauk 17 is my backup boat when I go solo.

Re: Trailer Set up for 21 Outrage with bow pulpit on steep ramp

I have the same hull with bow pulpit. It took me some time to learn the "sweet spot" to submerge the trailer at the ramp. That said probably last trailer boat I would order with pulpit. It does not even have an anchor windlass to remote activate making it less useful.

Re: Brunswick Investor Presentation

Driving south to the holidays yesterday from Washington to Florida, I saw several northbound tractor trailers with factory fresh shrink wrapped Boston Whalers greater than 30 feet being delivered. This seems to match up with the report.

Re: Brunswick Investor Presentation

Brunswick needs to build on the hugely successful FourStroke 150 HP model if they want to gain market share on the repower market. They took another step with the 75-115 HP models, but 175-225 HP is a large market for 20 foot plus models in need of a repower. This includes the Whalers in the early 2...
