OK my bad we had what I think was a 99" or 100" wide which would be 2" to narrow for the 170 Montauk apparently. Maybe take those plastic fenders off and it would fit in the than 40ft larger containers. (45', 48', 53') These larger ones are sometimes wider and used as semi-trailers. B...

Top sides are different but from what I understand the wetted part of the hulls are the same.

Check your local hardware and box store for some weather stripping you could use. There are so many different weather stripping for bottom of doors available, maybe some sweep could work.

If it is vinyl it is a custom after market type cover as OEM covers are canvas and made by Great Lakes as stated before. You have the boat and cover so you should know what it looks like.

Call Karavan (the trailer supplier) and get a 150 Montauk or Sport trailer. The hulls are the same and you'll get a trailer set up for your boat. Looking at the console door hue I would have gone with Interlux Schooner Gold as that will bring out the teak the best. Z Spar is great varnish also but doesn't give you the golden teak hue. I recommend the Schooner GOLD. Yes you must lightly sand between coats and I recommend WET sand with 220-300....

We also enjoy the Cheboygan-to-Crooked lake inland waterway trips and wished there was a lock and connection to get to Petoskey. These protected fresh inland water way connections are so much nicer than the Inland Waterway out East and down South we think.

I have a larger 60HP Merc but the instruction call for having the motor tilted at a 60 degree or so angle from vertical. Together with the comment Robert made that might be it.

Operating temperature ranges? Propane is horrible in cold weather. Of course, most boats operate above freezing, but I would not trust propane for temps below 50F.
