Where is the engine mounted? How many empty holes above the top bolt on the engine bracket?

A pedestal seat can be installed the aft bulkhead of the anchor locker on a Montauk 17 as long as there are appropriate backing plates included.

All Guardians were custom built to each customer's specifications. This included electrical components.

Rather than try to replicate a part installed 14 years ago, purchase a readily available part via a chandlery that serves the commercial marine operators.

You can install an aft bench seat if you want.

If you really want lots of seating flexibility, you can swap out the seats with a leaning post with a cooler underneath with cushion that you can slide out.

Do NOT use an adhesive/sealant product. No 3M 4200 or 5200.

When contemplating installation of anything on the deck or bow floor, remember there are no voids in the hull. It is all foam filled. Any hole in the skin needs to be sealed properly (no adhesives) to prevent water ingress.
