Ditto. Depends on where you are cleaning it as well. They make a product called boat zoap(yes zoap) which is non-toxic and recommended at marinas, etc. Simple green is fine too. You want to avoid using dawn or anything that removes grease because wax is basically a grease and will be removed. Your h...

Rust...excessive rust, not surface...aka rot. If you can check the bearing for growl or being lose and grease if possible. Obviously check tires and air pressure. You are correct, I think they had a larger model like a 20 but that might be the first of the Ventura line. You should be able to find a newer nice example of a Montauk or possibly a dauntless in your range. An Outrage is going to be older as they are considerably more expensive. What are you towing...

Simple answer is the Outrage is offshore model and the others are inshore models. I would not classify a Pioneer or Key West as a competitor for a Whaler, Scout is. I would make a new face for the console and move the wheel and then mount the binnacle(or top mount) control next to it along with a safety lanyard.

It will fit if the width is correct and the height is good for your needs. Biminis are rarely built for aa single hull as the bows can expand or contract a few inces in width to accommodate mounting spots. Your hull is 7.5' wide so you need roughly a 84" wide frame +/- a couple inches. Where ar...

How are you going to install a rubrail with that bow rail?
Why would you remove the binnacle-mount {or top-mount] control?
Center consoles use binnacle-mount [or top-mount] controls for the most part. You can modify a side mount but that is incorrect.

A wider rubrail is not necessary. You need the 3 piece as the 3rd piece is what mates the newer style rubrail to your older hull. The cost of a larger rubrail is almost double of what is recommended.

If you are cleaning a carburetor you use carburetor cleaner. If you are adding stuff to your fuel, use a fuel treatment.
I have never had to sand a carb, majority of times I reuse the gaskets if they did not tear.
Do not run it unless you want to risk doing damage. A lean carb means KABOOM.
