On my 17' and 21' Outrages, both had factory strings in the wiring chases. Neither were usable as over the years they had been wrapped up in the other wires.

My 15' Whaler was the easiest. The wiring tunnel was so big and smooth that wires could be pushed through with no tools.

They do. The distress flag was only required if you did not have an approved signaling device, e.g. flare.

There are multiple settings on the HDS Gen3 that will change in both units if adjusting either device.

For example, setting the number of engines, fuel tanks and fuel tank size instantly reset the settings on the other unit.

No - loosely. Pompier - french for fireman, pompier ladder - meaning an open style T ladder, as was used back in the day by firefighters.
