Re: Installing Fuel-Water Separating Filter

More important than a fuel filter is treating your fuel with a stabilizer product at every fill-up. Sta-bil and all engine manufacturer's have a branded product. Take your pick. A fuel filter is recommended if you frequent marina's, floating fuel docks, barge fuel stations or a land based fuel stati...

Your dealer is not helping you very well. The motor is rated with a WOT range of 5-6,000 rpm. Note that propeller size and performance is not universal across models or brands. It is highly doubtful an Eco 21" with perform the same as a different model in the same size. I agree with you Nick, a...

Welome to the Outrage 17 family. We are a small but proud and scrappy bunch. I owned a 1991 for 7 years and now have a 1992. Given it is a single crack I would discount it as a stress crack caused by movement in the transom and proffer that it is a result of age and an over application of gelcoat in...

While the 130 Sport (model naming changed ~ 2002) is an improvement, it will not be significant.

What really makes a difference is LOA and deadrise. A 13' is still a 13'.
