Re: Suzuki 90
As from recent experience, it may cost a few quid to get her up to snuff. You are probably looking at a new fuel and water pump. Various fuel and other filters as well as cleaning the injectors. I would assume if all is needed you are in the $1000-1500 range which is a lot cheaper than a new 90hp. H...

What kind of specs are you looking for. If you have the old trailer, the new trailer company should be able to set the trailer up perfectly from that.

Re: 1969 SUPER SPORT 13, Mercury 25-HP FOURSTROKE; Propeller; Power Trim
Having owned many 13-footers I would not use a 9.5-pitch unless running four people all the time. I believe my 35-HP engine--which is probably more like 28 to 30-HP today-- was a 2:1 ratio and I ran a 10 x 13 propeller. With a light load I could run a 15-pitch. If you are running a heavy load, get a...

If you have the etching acid, use it. It is always a good idea to have as clean a surface as possible. We did not etch it. Basically a good scrub and some scotch brite to give it some grip.
PS. you can buy it just about anywhere. It is not an online only product.

I would not let it hang suspended. If you can lift it and put it down in the yard or on the dock, that's another story. You will need a very good bridle set up. Depending on engine, you will be roughly 600-750lbs with gas, battery, anchor, steering, controls, misc. gear etc. Bare hull on classic(not...

Re: Kicker for Boston Whaler 18 - 19 feet boats?
Tohatsu is the largest small-outboard maker in the world. They make all the smaller, under 40-HP engines for Mercury. I would look at the 8-HP High-Thrust, too. You can tie them together to steer. They are not too heavy for your transom. The [GUARDIAN 19 transom] can handle 600 to 700-lbs without a ...

I hear ya on that Phil but if he is doing it in a 15' sport, anything is like the Queen Mary comparatively speaking.
On a 19 Outrage I imagine the 150 performs more like the 18" Outrage with a 115 due to 650lbs of heft added.
