Old Whaler at son's camp. What kind?

Postby Masbama » Mon Jul 04, 2016 12:01 pm

My son spent a week at Camp Stanislaus in Bay St. Louis, MS. They had small 'fleet' of old Whalers, including this one. I'm not sure of the year and model. These boats are used daily and are worked hard. It made me feel good knowing they are using my favorite brand.

I saw one of these today on the North River which flows from Pembroke, Massachusetts through Norwell to Scituate, and empties into the Atlantic.
A very nice boat. It reminded me of the ribbed Whalers, but I don't know what it is.
