I just picked up a 1992 Montauk 17 30th Anniversary with a Johnson 100-HP G. The boat is very clean and original with all its original paperwork.

How many [1992 MONTAUK 17 30th Anniversary model boats] are out there?

Congrats on the new purchase. If it's a 30th anniversary edition Montauk, then it's a 1991. If it's a 1992, then it's not the anniversary edition. Does it have the green banner stripe going around the whole boat?

[About 11 months later]

[My MONTAUK 17] is a 1992 Anniversary [model], and it does have the teal stripe, teal Bimini top, and teal full cover with matching color trailer. I have all the paperwork, books, and plaque for the 1992 Anniversary.
