Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show

Postby jimh » Wed Nov 04, 2015 1:06 pm

The Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) opens tomorrow. I won't be attending, but, if anyone does happen to attend, I would be very interested in hearing about new product introductions there from Boston Whaler, or from other marine manufacturers announcing new products that are relevant to use with Boston Whaler boats. Please share any information you gather at FLIBS with the rest of us in this thread.

Please go to the Navico booth, if they have one, and tell us about any new stuff they have coming out. Navico has deeply discounted some of their products which hints that there's something new coming to replace them.

I didn't attend but I did read on the Whaler website about a new 330 Outrage. Bertram is also back in business with a new 35-foot hull.

[More on the 330 OUTRAGE here.]

Lowrance apparently has a new product line coming that will be called "Hook." Information on it is embargoed until December 2015.

Standard Horizon has apparently introduced a new gps/chart plotter
retailing for around $750 to $800 (apologies, kinda blurry on price)

Wouldn't mind having a couple of them on my Whaler 25
