Montauk Console Cover

Postby roguewave » Thu Jul 21, 2016 7:55 am

Rather than have a custom console cover made made for my Boston Whaler MONTAUK 17, I thought I would try to find a less expensive pre-made cover for the helm. I only need it for four months.

Are any of you are happy with what you bought?

From whom did you buy it?

Thanks

Although it's a different application I purchased covers produced by TaylorMade Products for my console and pilot seat on an older Eastport. I've been using them for several years and they seem to be of good quality. They have several sizes available and I was able to find suitable covers even if they aren't a custom fit. I have the navy blue polyester covers which I think are their top of the line covers.

One less expensive option is look for a outdoor grill cover. I have noticed outdoor grills have grown tremendously.

Take some rough measurements of what you want and do some online searches, then visit the box stores. You may even find deals with the end of summer.

Personally, I would get a small heavy duty tarp and wrap the console and RPS and then use bungies to secure tight. Make sure there are no sags.
