Surprise Whaler picture on North Carolina DMF web page

We are preparing to head to Beaufort NC this next week and stay at a house on Taylor's Creek with a dock where we'll slip our 1984 Outrage 25 for the week. Much fishing is planned.

I went to the North Carolina fisheries web page to download the fish size regulations, and at the top of the page I noticed a boat that looked like a Boston Whaler. As I looked closer, I realized it was actually a picture of us as we came back into Atlantic Beach from fishing a couple of years ago.

I remember that day as we were inspected by a DMF ranger (a nice fellow) as we went through the Turning Basin. He had a photographer with him who asked if he could take some pictures for their publications, and I said sure, help yourself. We figured they might like them since we were about the only boat out there where everyone actually was wearing a life jacket.

It is not a very good resolution photo, but it was a fun surprise to see.
