That's pretty funny, I especially like the seller's attestation that the motor "ran when whaler was last used"......--I laugh aloud--....

On that offer price of $850: which way is the money going? It might be a fee to the seller to remove it from the property.

That boat is shot but the motor and trailer could be worth a closer look.

--I laugh aloud--...and you'll need to change out the wheels on premises to purchase it, the ad states: "Trailer is in good shape. Need new tires"

Never mind the boat, this is a parts bonanza. Last year I bought two 4.80 x 8 trailer tires from Walmart for $43.52 total with free shipping and I mounted them myself. If the trailer has no serious rust a coat of Pettit Trailercoat will make it look like new. The 28 hp motor is perfect for a 13 footer if it works. It even has remote controls. Those old school motors will usually respond well to new spark plugs and a carb cleaning. Now that Winter is here I'll bet you could get the whole deal for $500 or so. If I had a nice 13 footer and needed a motor and trailer I would grab that up. Then I'd dump the boat and use the motor, trailer, and salvageable parts on mine. This is a great deal for someone who is handy.
