Dauntless 230 v. 240

Postby jfaisten » Sun Nov 20, 2016 9:04 am

According to the specifciations I have, the 230 DAUNTLESS is 23-feet 6-inch long and the 240 DAUNTLESS is 24-feet 8-inch long. The beam is the same, 8-feet 6-inch. I've looked at several pictures of both boats and it's hard to determine where the extra foot is in the 240.

[On the 240 DAUNTLESS:]

--is the bow sun pad area bigger [than the sun pad area on a 230 DAUNTLESS]?

--is the center console bigger [than the console on a 230 DAUNTLESS]?

Thanks--Jeff

JEFF--since both the boats you are inquiring about are rather recent models of Boston Whaler boat, I recommend you contact the Boston Whaler company or one of its dealers to seek more information on the precise dimensions and differences between these models.

Thanks for the reply
I've been able to crawl around a 240 recently -- fits what I'm after. The sales guys indicated the foot difference between the 230 and the 240 is mainly in the bow. That area of the boat is important to what we do so I think we'll go with a 240.
Thanks again
