Outrage 190 Console Courtesy Lights

Postby picflight » Tue Nov 17, 2015 9:48 am

Has anyone pictures that show how and where the original courtesy lights are installed on the console of the 190 Outrage?
Thanks.

For the 2013 Outrage 190, see Sheet 7 of this parts diagram from the Owner's section of Bostonwhaler.com.
There is also a parts listing for everything shown at the end of the diagrams.

Thanks for the link Phil, I did not think of the parts diagram.
I could decipher the location of the courtesy lights on the bottom of the console but could not figure out what sort of light fixture it is. My inquisitiveness is to see if I can incorporate those lights on my 98 Outrage 17 console.

Forgot to mention, I installed a battery operated courtesy light in the console of my Outrage 17. I did not want the hassle of wiring when it was only used infrequently.

Something like this:

I happen to have a vid that I took last week at the dock that shows the courtesy lights on , on my 190 outrage.
If you email me I will send it...kencvit@gmail.com

This is my first post on the new version of CW.
So I'm not sure/haven't read up on... If pics or vids can be added to posts.

Courtesy lights work very well illuminating the deck:

Hi guys, sorry to resurrect this topic but hey, I'm new :)
(We/I have recently achieved one of my ambitions and become whaler owners! )

Picflight, We've got an outrage 210 which is great but I'm not hugely impressed with the courtesy lights as they seem rather dim, so I'm going to add some Led strip around the console and leaning post. This will be an easy install as the strip will just stick on, it's waterproof, cheap, use less power and will be brighter with a better spread of light .
If you feel inclined you could even fit some RGB strip so you could change the light colour too!
Hope this helps.
