Raider 18 in Action with Marine Corps
Raider 18 in Action with Marine Corps
Here are some United States Marine Corps public relations photos of Raider 18 boats in action. I have one of these in storage with a super heavy duty trailer. I am not sure what to do with her--next project!

Re: Raider 18s in action (USMC RRC)
Pete--thanks for the great pictures. And thanks to all the Marines onboard those boats.
What is the horsepower of the engine seen in the photographs?

Re: Raider 18 in Action with Marine Corps
Anyone ever heard of or seen [an "Special X Forces" Boston Whaler boat]? I heard and saw Guardian boats, but not "Special X Forces". [Pointer to craigslist notice of a "Special X Forces" boat for sale deleted.]
Re: Raider 18 in Action with Marine Corps
I have never heard of the military organization called "Special X Forces". Or course, the term "special forces" is a common term used in many military organizations.
Re: Raider 18 in Action with Marine Corps
The USMC RRC boats always had twin OMC 70hp motors. The Netherlands military version have a single OMC v6 (unk HP). Other than the single motor the only visible difference on the Dutch ones were running lights on the console and an all around light above the tow bar.
