Happy 4th of July!

As many of you know, I've spent the past two years writing a book examining the history of Boston Whaler. At long last, and thanks to the gracious help of Jim Hebert, Tom Clark, Jeff Rohlfing and countless other CW readers, the book is finally complete.

Unsinkable: The History of Boston Whaler is scheduled for a September 1, 2017 release. You can pre-order your copy via Amazon (see link below) or ask your local bookstore to order it on your behalf.

If you use Facebook, be sure to check in with me about future readings and book signings this fall. Likewise, if you belong to a local maritime museum or other organization (boat dealer?) that might enjoy listening to tales of Dick Fisher, Bob Dougherty and the rest, drop me a line.

Enjoy the holiday!

At $20 it's a 'No Brainer.' Just the guys on the Whaler enthusiast websites should be 10s of thousands of copies sold. And that's if they only buy 1. Thanks for making the effort.. from a third person perspective, it wasn't an easy endeavor.

Looking forward to receiving mine,

Chris

Matthew has done great work in authoring this book, which I am certain will be a delightful read for all Boston Whaler boat owners and fans. I had chance to preview the first chapter, and I found it filled with new and interesting historical information, and very well written.

I just ordered a copy and saved an additional 5 dollars using promo code PRIMEBOOKS17 at checkout. Offer expires at 11:59 p.m. (PT) July 12, 2017. An extra 5 dollars in my pocket for something I was going to purchase anyway seemed like a good deal.

Just ordered mine! Will there be any signed copies offered for CW forum members?

Thanks for the support for the release of the book.

A few people have asked about getting their copies signed. I'm happy to sign anyone's book, but we need to overcome the logistical hurdle of getting my right hand and your copy in the same room.

I'll be in Sarasota, FL, from August 23-25 for the BW Dealer meeting. If you're in town, we can arrange a meeting. If Sarasota isn't in your future, check the book's Facebook page (www.facebook.com/thewhalerbook) for updates on my travels to support the book.

Email me if you have questions: thewhalerbook@gmail.com

Again, thanks for your collective enthusiasm!

Best,
Matthew Plunkett
