Responders in Boston Whaler Stop Runaway Boat

The video description has a good summary of what happened. I thought the Whaler operators were crazy to be so nearby but they are responders.

Ten injured when bounced out of the boat. Twenty-year-old driver was arrested; charges include driving while intoxicated.

That is a much better angle akwalker, you can actually see the throw bag being deployed at about 0:27 into the video in your link. They realized the boat was going after them but a little too late. Good thing none of the rescue personnel were injured. I guess the collision disabled the Whaler.

I doubt the operator was attached to the safety lanyard. What a trainwreck!
