Shaft Length

Replacing original 25-HP Yamaha. Is there a shaft length I should specially request?

The E-TEC 30 has an extended warranty right now.

It would be helpful to define the model and year of boat.

When re-powering, choose the shaft length of the new engine to be appropriate for the transom height of the boat. With the information provided so far, a more specific answer is impossible to give.

1987 13 Super Sport is the model. Thanks again for the advice.

I had the exact same model boat with a 30 E-TEC. Fabulous match for that hull. The correct shaft length is 20-inch.
