Just purchased 170 Montauk

Postby Riverdance » Wed Apr 11, 2018 6:50 pm

Hi. New to the forum. For $9,500 I just purchased a 2003 170 MONTAUK in mint shape with fishing package, swim platform, bow cushion, original Mercury 90-HP, bunk trailer, some outdated electronics, boat cover, console cover, and bench seat cover.

A 170 MONTAUK is a great boat, particularly for river dancing.

That was a great deal. How many hours on the engine?

Did Boston Whaler offer a four-stroke-power-cycle engine then?

Is the engine a Mercury 90-HP two-stroke?

The engine is a Mercury 90, the original engine; I don't know how many hours it has.
