My 2018 190 Outrage

Hello. I’ve been lurking on these pages for a while and figured I’d make an account, now that I actually have a Boston Whaler boat again—a new 190 Outrage. I used to have a 170 Montauk over a decade ago so I’m rusty, but I’ll get it back fast.
My wife and I will be boating on the eastern end of Long Island. We wanted something that would be comfy on a ride from Shinnecock to Shelter Island, Montauk via Peconic Bay, or even a trip to Connecticut. We still have to choose our days.
But the return trips can be choppy even when the day started out calm, and we wanted the smoother ride.
Also, we will be moving next year, somewhere in Florida (currently house shopping). This [190 OUTRAGE] boat will be a blast down there too, esp because it’s relatively easy to trailer. Perfect for trips to the keys, gulf, and east coast.
Both of us like to fish a lot, but we also like to cruise around or take another couple out as well. The 190 Outrage has those bases covered.
The 190 Outrage is powered with a Mercury 150 FOURSTROKE that moves the boat along nicely. The boat has white powder-coated T-Top with four rod holders up top. Lenco trim tabs are a must, as well, and this boat already had them. She has dual pedestal seats which are nice when you want to rest your back and chill for a minute. We weren’t digging the bench seats.
Went with a Fusion radio and loudspeakers, a Garmin touch screen chart plotter and SONAR.
The 190 OUTRAGE has the fishing package with live well, too, and seat and console covers as well. The light blue hull matches our 1981 Bronco which is also light blue.
Here’s the only picture I have of the 190 Outrage—I’ll take more over the next few days. Happy to be back on the water!
