Somewhere in that timeline the Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP) business entity was created as a separate operation distinct from Bombardier, the company making commercial passenger jet airliners and modern railroad passenger train cars and engines.
George Broughton’s comments are quite interesting. They remind me of a conversation I had over lunch some years ago with Bob Dougherty, who told me that Ford Motor almost bought Boston Whaler at one point.
